White skirt tetras

Finally got to taking pictures of fish in my aquarium! My two gorgeous white skirted tetras are recent additions. :)

Thanks Tanusree di! :) Yeah, I finally bought a 35mm and shot this photo at f/2.2. I am in love with prime lenses! :) I also had a 50mm but I sold that to get this one. I loved that one too, but it was not my favorite focal length. :)

congrats koke on your new buy! is this one the new DX 35mm f/1.8 Prime? i read good reviews about it.

Tanusreedi: Yup! It is! :) It is really really fast! There is no way I could have taken this photo with my kit 18-105 mm. That goes down to f/3.5 – and I took this shot with the 35mm prime f2.2 with 1/60s. Still required a fairly steady hand! :)
